NexGen Music is offering the chance to win $250 in cash, a release on NexGen + PR & Social Media Campaign for four new artists! To enter please, simply follow us on Soundcloud taking note of the terms, and send us 3 or 4 original tracks in one of the following genres: Drum & Bass, Bass/Dubstep, UK Garage, and Downtempo/Chill. And… the submission that we are feeling the most out of the four winners will get an extra $250!

NexGen Music are asking for music submissions from new producers in the genres of DNB, Bass, UKG & Downtempo/Chill and will pick 4 winners, one from each genre, who will win $250 & a release on the label with full PR & social media support. As an added extra, the entry that the label is feeling the most will win an additional $250.

The competition is open to new producers anywhere in the world

Brighton music conference & Brapp are offering vocalists, rappers and producers the chance to collaborate with some of the most contemporary artists form across the spectrum of underground electronic, hip hop and grime music.

This year’s conference, taking place at Brighton Dome 14/15 April, focuses heavily on closing gap between music genres.

All you have to do is download Brapp appsto.re/us/VU378.i to your iPhone and submit beats by tagging your favourite vocalist or perform on your favourite producer’s beats.

Artists have 2 weeks starting Monday 21st March through to 7th of April to perform on their producer of choices’ beats in the Brapp app, or to tag a vocalist on productions they upload for the chance to collaborate on a track to be released on the official Brighton Music Conference compilation.

Brapp is a social platform like Instagram that puts a powerful studio in your pocket. Producers can upload their beats. Users can select any beat, record a 1-minute video on top, mix down the audio with our studio effects, add video filters and share with their followers instantly, the producer who’s beat was used gets a notification.

BMC focuses on development, networking and celebrating dance music through a series of panels, presentations and showcases. Aimed at music industry delegates, aspiring DJs/producers looking to break into the scene, as well as dance music fans, BMC offers an array of opportunities for attendees to form new business relationships, learn their craft, showcase their product and immerse themselves in their chosen music genre.

One lucky winner will be handpicked by each artist to collaborate on a brand new track.

Point Blank London has sent us info about their new competition to with the above huge prize !! We thought we would share it with you all.

The official text :

We’re giving you the chance to create a mix on our Mixer Machine and win an integrated music production prize bundle courtesy of Native Instruments, consisting of their Komplete 10 instruments and effects package, together with a Komplete Kontrol S-25 keyboard. Plus we’re throwing in one of our online courses as part of the prize!

To enter, simply register below, then create and submit a mix on the Mixer Machine before 14th June. The best entry will win this great prize bundle, worth over $2,000!

Once you’ve created your mix, remember to spread the word and ensure your friends rate your mix – the more votes you have will increase your chances of being shortlisted to the final selection! The final shortlist will then be judged by a Point Blank panel to decide the winner.

For every mix submitted we’ll be donating 50¢ to Bridges for Music, a charity which strives to use music and artists positively to create community projects in developing countries and help bridge the extensive gap between rich and poor. So you can feel even better about creating music, knowing it’s for a good cause!

The competition winner will be announced on w/c Monday 21th June and notified via the email they used to subscribe with. If you’ve already registered with us, then no need to re-register as you’re part of the competition – simply head to the Mixer and start creating!
