Quentin Hiatus comes up for air from his seemingly permanent deep-dive into his studio to drop volume four of the mind-bending I’m Neither Quentin Nor Hiatus series of long players.
The Free Love Digi boss is one of the most prolific producers in the scene, and the amount of ground he covers on each release is so vast you wonder if he even has time to eat one square meal a day during the never-ending creation process.
I’m Neither Quentin Nor Hiatus Volume 4 is predictable only in the sense that, like the previous volumes, there is genuinely no knowing what is to come after pressing play. It’s a seven-track immersion sparking with creative energy, looking down on the scene from an orbit which takes in, amongst others, the spacey breaks of ‘Sense of Loss’, the Martian half-time of ‘Electro Dynamics’ and the robot dreams of ‘To Be Red’.
