If you are human living on planet earth then you will know that SaSaSaS have had an absolutely massive year in and things are about to take another step up as they embark on a World Tour in 2017.
The Drum & Bass supergroup which was formed 3 years ago have taken the underground sound of Drum & Bass to stages that are more normally suited to mainstream DnB acts and the way they have been embraced by the crowds have been nothing short of amazing.
From packing out dance floors at the colossal Creamfields, Westfest and NASS Festival to sell out dates across the UK and Europe, the momentum is getting stronger with some very exciting music projects happening in the studio.
Lets not forget, the six strong crew of DJ Phantasy, Macky Gee, Shabba D, Skibadee, Stormin & Harry Shotta represented strongly for the Drum & Bass scene at this years RedBull Culture Clash in Bristol and then again at the World Famous O2 Arena.
Whilst SaSaSaS continue taking world class stages, they have never compromised their style and have played a large part in bringing the sound of ‘Jump Up’ DnB to a global audience.
Now for the good news for SaSaSaS fans. Another UK wide tour is already planned and they have many USA dates lined up to showcase their unique style to the American public. As if that isn’t far enough away from their UK roots, they’re also going to Australia and New Zealnd in May 2017.
Back home in Europe, they will be co-headlining the Rampage festival alongside Noisia and they have also made the lead record for that festival titled ‘Rampage Anthem’. You’ve probably heard them testing the track out during their sets as they tweaked the track to make sure it was perfect.
And if that’s still not enough for the die hard SaSaSaS fans, they are currently having a documentary filmed about them which is due to be finished in the early part of 2017 and having seen the clip they posted online, you can see its going to be a great watch.
Bringing great energy and entertainment to each show they do, SaSaSaS perform with a smile and for those of us who work hard and go out to party to get away from the stresses of life, what better way for us to do that by watching a group of artists that actually look like they’re enjoying what they do.
We look forward to writing more about their journey in the future but for now, you can catch them this New Years Eve at the mighty One Nation for the midnight set, At the O2 Academy in Oxford and also back in London for the massive iNNOVATiON & Devotion show at Fire & Lightbox Complex.
