Let’s start at the beginning, what was your introduction to Drum & Bass music listeners?

Well myself Silver & Wilf have been in the scene for a very long time and I don’t think many of our listeners know that. For starters we started Metropolis over 15 years ago and is still going strong. I used to produced under the name Sonic & Silver or Accidental Heroes or Silver for that matter on loads of top labels within the scene. Wilf also used to run New Vibe Recordings and still does when he feels like it lol so our introduction to Drum & Bass has been from the get go really. From going to Sunday Roast at the Astoria in London to classic Metalheadz nights at the blue note and Hardware & Ram at the End to Kinetic in Stoke and Die Hard in Leicester we would like to think we have been there from the beginning and have seen the game change into what it is today.

Standout records from that time for you guys personally?

Stand Out records have be tracks like Omni Trio – Renegade Snares, Ray Keith – Terrorist, man there are so many tracks from that era…..Splice came into North Base around 4 years ago now. Simon got into Drum & Bass around 2006 listening to his very first CD tape pack brought from a car boot sale by the World Dance crew. His first vinyl was Sub Focus Druggy since then he has found love for the likes of Pendulum, Noisia, Andy C, High Contrast, Shy FX, S.P.Y, Shock One, DC breaks and many more.
