Deuce & Charger bring a massive 2015 to a close with their brand new dance-floor anthem ‘We Can Beat The Night’. Released on December 04 on In Charge Recordings, ‘We Can Beat The Night’ follows a full-on summer of plays on BBC Radio 1, playlisting on BBC Radio 1 Xtra and a headline debut live set at 1Xtra Live in Leeds.
The London-based trio of Becky, Pete and Yoni have been creating a stir on the underground since early 2014 through tastemaker blogs such as Less Than 3, The Burning Ear and EDM.com, as well as receiving huge support from BBC Introducing.
They have collaborated with the most exciting emerging and established names in drum & bass, breaks and grime including TYR (whose remix of debut track ‘Always Broke’ received over 120,000 plays in less than a month), Nightmares On Wax’s Phoenix Pearle and Wiley collaborator Saskilla.
The collaborations continue on ‘We Can Beat The Night’ with Deuce & Charger bringing in RAM Records prodigy Chords and experimental funk/hip-hop act Fold to remix the single. Chords takes the through-the-night party energy of the original vocal (provided this time by Deuce & Charger’s own Becky) to an altogether darker and heavier club space, while Fold flip ‘We Can Beat The Night’ with an insistent old school funk rhythm work out.
Following hot on the heels of the “emotive and uplifting D&B” [Less Than 3] of their recent ‘Tear Down The Barricades’ VIP track, Deuce & Charger will be all over club systems and radios everywhere with ‘We Can Beat The Night’ in 2015 and beyond.
