As 2015 draws to a close, we bring the low down a a brand new label set to make waves in 2016, Deconstructed Recordings

The label was put together by Jay Gandhi (Blueprint) and Audio Agent who both DJ’d in college at their University’s radio stations KSLU and KWUR.  Several years after graduating, the pair began  talking about creating the Deconstructed label and their vision for it.  They wanted to focus strictly on deep, smooth drum and bass for the world to hear.

The fledgling label also has plans for releasing future bass as well. Their first release is a collaboration by Blueprint and Cosmology (Good Looking Records, Blu Saphir, Fokuz).  Their tentative release schedule includes artists that the team have worked with over the years as well as new ones.

Deconstructed Recordings will go live in stores with DC001 in January 2016 with DC002 slated for March 2016 or earlier.  Keep an eye on their twitter and soundcloud for the latest news.
