With an already impressive array of remixes within their discography, including some of the most illustrious number one singles from the past few years, from Paloma Faith to Example, DC Breaks are back to adding their high-tempo spin. And this time, it’s for Spinnin’ Records, a pioneer within the highly competitive dance world and one who handpicked the production duo for a drum & bass revamp of Eelke Kleijn’s ‘Mistakes’.
Having already smashed the Beatport D&B chart with over 40 releases to date, with their most recent being jazz-felt vocal roller ‘Faithless’, their debut album is just on the horizon. ‘Faithless’ has already secured support from Annie Mac, Target, Annie Nightingale, Eddy TM, Wideboys and Charlie Tee, there’s been widespread support from across the radio airwaves.
Dan and Chris bring their signature driving basslines to elevating synth, whilst cleverly paying homage to the original with its nerve-twitching dancefloor appeal. Perfectly blending their craft and creating a 170 switch up, it demonstrates why DC Breaks have such a widespread commercial appeal, whilst dominating clubs in the UK’s most notorious corners.
But this is only the beginning. With headlines slots across some of the biggest European festivals to date, including Dour and SW4 with more to be announced, this is all paving the way to a highly anticipated debut album.
